Getting Started Details
If you are having problem getting into the PEP modules or would like to see more details, please see the appropriate section below. You can also contact the ITS Customer Support Centre at 519 661-3800 or Ext. 83800.

After these steps have been completed, you can enter the modules at any time and as many times as you wish (click the Enter Modules button on the navigation bar).
Computer Requirements
Computer Configuration for PEP
- You need the Sun Java Virtual Machine (Sun JVM) installed on your computer. Instructions can be found at http://webct.uwo.ca/hdi_installJava1.5.html. Java 1.6 is now supported as well .
- You need the Flash and Shockwave browser plug-in installed to be able to view the movies. See http://webct.uwo.ca/checkMyBrowser.html#browserPlugins.
- Pop-ups must be allowed. See

- Cookies must be enabled in the browser.
- Javascript must be enabled in the browser.

Login to PEP (the first time)
- Once you have registered for PEP, a message with your PEP username and password will be displayed on the success page of the Registration application.
- Go to the PEP Module Login. This link may also be included in the above message.
- In the Log In window that appears, enter your username and password you were sent and click the "OK" button
.
- You will be taken to a "Change My Password" page. Change your password to whatever you like (some restrictions apply).
- After you save your new password you will be taken back to the Login In page again. Make sure your computer and browser are configured for PEP before logging in. (See the Configure your computer for using PEP section above).

Click on the "Check Browser" button to make verify that all is configured correctly. You should see a screen similar to the one below if all is correct. If there are problems, a red X instead of a checkmark will appear next to the item that has a problem.
- After this initial login, you can use the modules anytime via the PEP Module Login or via the Enter Modules page.
NOTE: If you did not get prompted to change the password the first time you logged in, you should change is manually. Click the link "My Settings" at the top right of the page. If you don't see this link, click the "My PEP" tab at the top right and then on the page that appears, click "My Settings". When done, click the "My PEP" tab again to get back.
