Getting Started Details

If you are having problem getting into the PEP modules or would like to see more details, please see the appropriate section below. You can also contact the ITS Customer Support Centre at 519 661-3800 or Ext. 83800.

After these steps have been completed, you can enter the modules at any time and as many times as you wish (click the Enter Modules button on the navigation bar).


Computer Requirements

Computer Configuration for PEP

  1. You need the Sun Java Virtual Machine (Sun JVM) installed on your computer. Instructions can be found at http://webct.uwo.ca/hdi_installJava1.5.html. Java 1.6 is now supported as well .

  2. You need the Flash and Shockwave browser plug-in installed to be able to view the movies. See http://webct.uwo.ca/checkMyBrowser.html#browserPlugins.

  3. Pop-ups must be allowed. See http://webct.uwo.ca/checkMyBrowser.html#popUpSpamBlockers

  4. Cookies must be enabled in the browser.

  5. Javascript must be enabled in the browser.

Login to PEP (the first time)

NOTE: If you did not get prompted to change the password the first time you logged in, you should change is manually. Click the link "My Settings" at the top right of the page. If you don't see this link, click the "My PEP" tab at the top right and then on the page that appears, click "My Settings". When done, click the "My PEP" tab again to get back.
